This was initially a sketch to practice colt faces in my style at three-quarters view, and it kind got out of hand. I find it amazing how I can surprise myself and feel unintentional emotions about a piece while I’m drawing it, for example halfway through this I burst into a “dawwwww” looking at the final position of Apple Bloom in relation to Big Mac.
